My journey in the martial arts has always been about more than physical technique. From the beginning, training emphasized the development of the mind as much as the body, cultivating focus, calmness, discipline, and awareness through practices very similar to meditation. Over time, this naturally led me to explore the healing arts as well. Hypnosis, in many ways, works from the same foundation. Like meditation, it guides a person into a relaxed, focused state of awareness. The difference is that in hypnotherapy you are supported by a trained practitioner who helps guide the experience toward a positive and practical outcome.
I was trained and certified in clinical hypnosis in the mid-1990s and opened my practice in Etobicoke, Ontario in 1999. For more than 26 years, Positive Changes Hypnosis Etobicoke has been helping people make meaningful improvements in their lives. Hypnotherapy can be very effective for reducing and managing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, strengthening confidence, supporting habit change such as smoking cessation or weight management, and helping people move past limiting patterns that hold them back.
In this way, my work in hypnosis is a natural extension of martial arts philosophy, the union of discipline, awareness, and the healing arts working together to help people bring greater balance, clarity, and positive change into their lives.
